אנרגיה נקייה והתייעלות אנרגטית

אוניברסיטת בר-אילן מחויבת לקידום אחריות סביבתית, להתמודדות עם שינויי האקלים ולתמיכה במעבר לכלכלה דלת פחמן, בהתאם לערכי הקיימות של האוניברסיטה וליעדי הפיתוח בר-הקיימא של האו"ם (SDGs).

כחלק ממחויבות זו, אגף התפעול פועל לקידום השימוש באנרגיה נקייה ומתחדשת, לצמצום צריכת האנרגיה ולשיפור היעילות האנרגטית של מבני הקמפוס ותשתיותיו, תוך ניהול מושכל של משאבים ושמירה על איכות סביבת הלימודים, המחקר והעבודה.

עקרונות המדיניות

• אנרגיה מתחדשת:  קידום והרחבת השימוש במערכות לייצור אנרגיה סולארית במבני הקמפוס ובשטחים המתאימים לכך.
• התייעלות אנרגטית:  שדרוג מערכות מיזוג אוויר, קירור, תאורה וציוד אלקטרומכני, תוך העדפת טכנולוגיות חסכוניות ויעילות.
• ניהול ובקרת אנרגיה:  שימוש במערכות בקרה וניטור לצורך ייעול צריכת החשמל, זיהוי מוקדי בזבוז ושיפור ביצועי המערכות.
• תכנון ופיתוח בר-קיימא:  שילוב שיקולי חיסכון באנרגיה והשפעה סביבתית בתכנון מבנים חדשים, בשיפוצים ובפרויקטים לשדרוג תשתיות.
• תחבורה נקייה:  קידום תשתיות לטעינת כלי רכב חשמליים ועידוד פתרונות תחבורה המפחיתים צריכת דלקים ופליטת מזהמים.
• תחזוקה ושימוש מושכל במשאבים:  תחזוקה מונעת של מערכות ותשתיות, לצמצום צריכת האנרגיה ולהארכת חיי הציוד.

יישום המדיניות

אגף התפעול פועל ליישום עקרונות אלה במסגרת תוכניות העבודה, פרויקטים לפיתוח הקמפוס והתחזוקה השוטפת, תוך בחינת פתרונות טכנולוגיים מתקדמים ושיפור מתמשך של היעילות האנרגטית.

פעילות זו נועדה לקדם קמפוס חסכוני, יעיל ואחראי לסביבה, תוך שמירה על איכות השירות ועל צורכי ההוראה, המחקר והעבודה באוניברסיטה.

Clean Energy and Energy Efficiency

Bar-Ilan University is committed to promoting environmental responsibility, addressing climate change, and supporting the transition to a low-carbon economy, in line with the University's sustainability values and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

As part of this commitment, the Operations Division works to promote the use of clean and renewable energy, reduce energy consumption, and improve the energy efficiency of campus buildings and infrastructure, while ensuring responsible resource management and maintaining a high-quality environment for teaching, research, and work.

Policy Principles

• Renewable Energy: Promoting and expanding the use of solar energy systems on campus buildings and in suitable areas.

• Energy Efficiency: Upgrading air conditioning, cooling, lighting, and electromechanical systems, with a preference for energy-efficient technologies and solutions.

• Energy Management and Monitoring: Using monitoring and control systems to optimize electricity consumption, identify energy waste, and improve system performance.

• Sustainable Planning and Development: Integrating energy efficiency and environmental considerations into the planning of new buildings, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades.

• Clean Transportation: Developing electric vehicle charging infrastructure and encouraging transportation solutions that reduce fuel consumption and emissions.

• Maintenance and Responsible Resource Use: Implementing preventive maintenance practices to reduce energy consumption, extend equipment lifespan, and improve operational efficiency.

Policy Implementation

The Operations Division implements these principles through its annual work plans, campus development projects, and ongoing maintenance activities, while exploring advanced technological solutions and continuously improving energy efficiency.

These efforts aim to promote a more energy-efficient, resource-conscious, and environmentally responsible campus, while maintaining high service standards and supporting the University's evolving teaching, research, and operational needs.
